It's Saturday and I am tired, I got no sleep last night so my energy is a struggle. The sleep study went well despite not sleeping at all. I should know the results in a couple of weeks. Even though I am tired my day did go well, walked one mile today and managed to go the entire day without taking a nap or even dozing; not bad considering I didn't sleep and have been awake for almost 24 hours. Today I started doing some gardening, I want to get my parent's gardens ready for spring. Gardening to me is my therapy from the real world, nature truly does give you the since of comfort.
Today's weigh in is 210, down one more pound today with a total loss of 8 pounds in five days. I am doing good and maintaining.
Today's breakfast was a big one, simply for the reward. I started out with my vitamins, energy drink, exercise, and my meal.
Breakfast potato bacon egg wrap.
Four slices of turkey bacon.
One rosemary herb wrap.
One potato sliced.
Small hand full of onion slices.
A pinch of salt and pepper.
All mixed together and cooked to desire. When completed fold within the wrap. Served with a mixed nut fruit bar, six frozen strawberries, and one banana slice. Breakfast was taken with a fiber drink and a full glass of water.
My lunch for today was a veggie burger plate.
One veggie burger patty.
One whole grain thin sandwich bun.
Light mayo and mustard.
Four pickle slices.
One cherry for topping the bread.
Served with french fries cooked in lime juice and a pinch of garlic powder. Along side a scoop of grilled chicken salad. My dessert was a strawberry yogurt and I drink a full glass of water.
My snacks for the day was two hand full of healthy nuts and my dinner was two scoops of grilled chicken salad.
I don't think I mention the grilled chicken recipe. Simply grilled chicken with one tablespoon of vinaigrette dressing served with assorted lettuce, mixed well.
